THE GURUGURU STORY
(I apologize to all of you in need for more GURUFICATION
but this is only the short version off the story.
I'm working on the full lenght one.)
GURUGURU has allways been more than just another popband.
After the triumphant release of their debut album "New Adventures in the Cosmic Bumhole", wich featured such clubfavorites as "Bumhole Heaven" and "Timewarp Dreaming" they published their book "GGGG" (The GURUGURU GROUPIE GUIDE), and made a commercial succes out of their debut with the raunchy "Bumhole Revisited".
Giving their fans and critics ample time to recover from their Christmas single "Ugly, Fat, Stupid and Drunk Too", they kicked off with an unprecedented series released within the next year.
Starting with the techno-country album "Get Gururized", accelerating with the extremely avantgarde "The Secret Recordings from Strange and Amplified Sounds of the Other Planets" wich they recorded in Paris with the Ensemble Contemporain, they were awed, misunderstood and finally spit out by critics and audience with their highly controversial and ouspoken "GURUGURU meets Grandma Croft", after wich a series of lawsuits forced the two groupmembers to head off with 17 of their groupies to Nambia and live there before the coast of Luderitz on an brand new Iraki oiltanker.
Just resently they released the long-awaited "Live in Luderitz". Critics say the easy-listening album is proof that the band has mellowed down and lost contact with reality and their talents but GG stated in a pressrelease that they consider the album their most experimental so far. Further on in the statement, core members ARYAN KAGANOF and RAMON DOS SANTOS mention the birth of their 24-th son (ARYAMON-2) from within their Harem. Breeding an army they say, to GURURIZE the world and bring Justice to the Youniverse.
